Sara Duterte, nagbitiw na sa Hugpong ng Pagbabago

Nagbitiw na si Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio mula sa kaniyang regional party na Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP).

Kinumpirma ni HNP Secretary-General Anthony del Rosario ang pagbibitiw ng alkalde sa partido, araw ng Huwebes.

“It is with profound sadness that I hereby tender my resignation from our beloved party. My support will always be with you and I will always be grateful for all the things you have taught me,” saad sa liham ni Duterte-Carpio sa partido.

Matatandaang noong November 9, nag-withdraw sa reelection bid si Duterte-Carpio para sa 2022 elections.
