240 sasakyan na nagkakahalaga ng P818-M, natanggap ng PNP
Nakatanggap ang Philippine National Police (PNP) ng 240 na bagong sasakyan upang masuportahan ang mga ikinakasang operasyon ng pulisya.
Apat na araw bago ang kaniyang retirement, pinangunahan ni PNP Chief, Police General Guillermo Eleazar ang commissioning ceremony ng mga sasakyan, kasabay ng flag-raising ceremony sa Camp Crame, Lunes ng umaga (November 8).
Kabilang dito ang 10 utility trucks, 13 shuttle buses, 90 4-wheel drive troop carriers at 127 police patrol vehicles.
Dumalo rin sa seremonya bilang Guest of Honor si NAPOLCOM Vice Chairman Vitaliano Aguirre II.
Ayon sa hepe ng pambansang pulisya, nakuha ng PNP Bids and Awards Committee ang 240 na bagong sasakyan mula sa paglalaan ng Capability Enhancement Program 2021 na may total contract price na P818,175,766.
Sinabi ni PNP Acting Director for Logistics, Police Brigadier General Ronaldo Olay na ikakalat ang utility trucks sa limang Area Police Offices sa North Luzon, Southern Luzon, Visayas, Eastern Mindanao at Western Mindanao; habang itatalaga naman ang 13 shuttle buses sa Police Regional Offices at PNP Academy.
Dadalhin naman ang 90 4×4 troop carriers sa Police Mobile Forces at Municipal Police Stations, habang ang 127 patrol vehicles naman ay ipakakalat sa mga police station.
Ani Police Colonel Roderick Augustus Alba, tagapagsalita ng PNP, nasa 20,000 ground mobile assets ang pinapanatili ng kanilang hanay.
