Inindorso ng Quezon City Serbisyo sa Bayan Party (SBP) ang kandidatura ni Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III na kakandidatong bise presidente sa 2022 elections.
Ginawa ng SBP ang pag-suporta kay Sotto isang araw matapos ihayag ni Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte na iindorso niya ang Senate President.
Ayon kay Belmonte, nagsagawa ng pagpupulong ang SBP, Miyerkules ng gabi (November 3), at nagkasundo na suportahan si Sotto.
“It was a unanimous decision to support Senate President Sotto’s vice presidential bid. Natutuwa tayo na sinuportahan ng ating partido ang ama ng ating vice mayor,” pahayag ni Belmonte.
Ayon kay Belmonte, ang outstanding political track record bilang dating vice mayor ng Quezon City at mahigit dalawang dekadang pagiging senador ni Sotto ang kanilang naging basehan para iindorso ito.
Si Sotto ay ama ni Quezon City Vice Mayor Gian Sotto.
Wala pa namang napipisil ang SBP na iindorsong pangulo ng bansa.
