P3.9M halaga ng jest skis, motorcycles, bicycles nasabat ng Customs Bureau
Kinumpiska ng Bureau of Customs – Port of Manila ang isang 40-footer container at nadsikubre na naglalaman ito ng jets skis at motorsiklo.
Tinatayang aabot sa P3.9 milyon ang halaga ng mga ‘misdeclared items,’ na dumating sa South Harbor noong Oktubre 3 mula sa Japan at naka-consigned sa Fastside Consumer Goods Trading.
Nabatid na idineklara ng consignee na ang mga laman ng container ay electric motors, e-bikes, sofa at cabinet.
Hiniling naman ng Enforcement Security Service na magkaroon ng physical examination sa nilalaman ng container at nadiskubre ang 45 units ng motorsiklo at bisikleta, dalawang jet skis at mga gamit pang-bahay.
Agad na nagpalabas ng Warrants of Seizure and Detention para sa mga kargamento dahil sa paglabag sa Customs Modernization and Tariff Act.
