Hirit na pagtanggal ng “Pine Gap” sa Netflix, suportado ng Palasyo
Suportado ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang ang hirit ng Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) na ipatanggal sa Netflix ang pagpapalabas ng TV series na “Pine Gap” dahil sa paglabag sa Philippine Sovereignty.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, nasa ilalim ng Office of the President ang MTRCB.
Sinabi pa ni Roque na mismong ang Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) ang humiling sa MTRCB na huwag ipalabas sa bansa ang “Pine Gap.”
Pumapalag ang MTRCB sa palabas na ipinapakita ng China ang nine-dash line sa South China Sea.
Ayon sa MTRCB, hindi aksidente na ipinakikita sa palabas na “Pine Gap na lehitimo ang claim ng China na nine-dash line.
Ayon kay Roque, nakabase ito sa hindi tama o inaccurate claim ng China sa teritoryo sa South China Sea.
“Suportado po iyan dahil ang MTRCB naman po ay under the Office of the President din mismo ‘no. At ang Department of Foreign Affairs naman po ang humingi sa MTRCB na huwag ipalabas ito sa ating bayan dahil ito nga po ay based on very inaccurate myth and scope of the Chinese territory,” pahayag ni Roque.
