Umabot sa Office of the City Mayor at Quezon City Local Government na may ilang indibiduwal na nagpapanggap bilang city officials upang makapag-solicit ng pera.
Base sa mga ulat, ginagawa ang naturang modus sa pamamagitan ng voice calls, messages, at emails.
Abiso ng QC LGU, maging mapagpatyag sa naturang modus.
“The Office of the City Mayor under Mayor Joy Belmonte, and the Departments of the Quezon City Local Government have never, and will never, directly solicit funds or other valuable merchandise from the public,” saad nito.
Babala naman ng lokal na pamahalaan sa lahat ng sangkot sa naturang scam, magsasagawa ang Office of the City Mayor at Quezon City Police Department (QCDPD) ng imbestigasyon, enforcement, at legal resources para mahuli ang lahat ng responsable sa ilegal na aktibidad.
