LOOK: Inagurasyon ng bagong Corporate Building sa MCIA

Pinasinayaan na ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) ang bagong Corporate Building sa Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA), araw ng Huwebes (October 28).

Magsisilbing tirahan ng mga empleyado ng MCIAA ang six-story building, na may modernong kagamitan at pasilidad.

Mayroon ding passageways na nakakonekta sa terminal buildings.

Sa inagurasyon, binigyang-diin ni Secretary Art Tugade ang hatid nitong long-term opportunities at benefits hindi lang sa mga pasahero kundi maging sa mga negosyante mula sa iba’t ibang bansa.

“As we improve the existing airport and the terminal, as we add second runways for the MCIA, we are telling the whole world: ‘Come to Cebu. It is a place for business’,” saad ng kalihim.

Maliban dito, magkakasa rin ng development projects sa Bantayan Airport, Camotes, at Medellin Airport.

“Tututukan ko ang pag-umpisa ng airport sa Camotes Island at Medellin. Tatapusin ko ‘yan. Makikipagtulungan ako upang mabigyang buhay ang paguumpisa at pagtatapos ng mga airport na ito,” ani Tugade.

Nagpasalamat naman si Tugade kay Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA) General Manager Julius Neri Jr. para sa buong pusong pagtatrabaho at determinasyon para sa mga proyekto.
