DILG ipinag-utos sa PNP, BFP, BJMP ang dagdag na deployment para sa COVID vaccination efforts

Nagbaba ng direktiba si Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Eduardo Año sa Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), at Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) na dagdagan ang deployment ng tauhan at resource assets sa pagpapatuloy ng COVID-19 vaccination sa bansa.

Paliwanag ng kalihim, layon nitong masuportahan ang pagbabakuna ng mga local government unit (LGU).

Maliban dito, ipinag-utos din ng kalihim na simulan ang communication campaigns na nakahanay sa Risk Communication Plan ng LGUs upang makumbinsi ang publiko na magpabakuna laban sa nakahahawang sakit.

Sa mga kaso naman ng kapabayaan sa bakuna, sinabi ni Año sa PNP na mag-imbestiga at isumite ang resulta nito sa kagawaran.

“By ramping up the COVID-19 vaccination program, we can save lives, accelerate and boost the economy,” saad ng kalihim at dagdag nito, “Let us work together to finally end of COVID-19 woes.”

Base sa datos ng DOH and COTA, mababa ang naitatalang bagong kaso ng COVID-19 sa bansa sa nakalipas na dalawang linggo.
