200 displaced workers, binigyan ng bisikleta ng QC government

Aabot sa 200 displaced workers ang binigyan ng bisikleta ng Quezon City government.

Ayon kay Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, malaking tulong ito para makapaghanapbuhay ang mga manggagawa na nawalan ng trabaho dahil sa pandemya sa COVID-19.

Ayon kay Belmonte, nagkaroon na ng kasunduan ang Quezon City government at Foodpanda Philippines para maging freelance delivery riders ang mga ito.

Ginawa ang signing of agreement kasabay ng launching ng ‘pandaBIZikleta’, ang proyekto ng Foodpanda Philippines na tuumutulong sa mga nawalan ng trabaho.

Kasama ni Belmonte sa signing ng agreement sina Foodpanda Philippines finance director Leopoldo de Castro Jr. at Judith Tubil, head ng People & Culture division.

“We continue to innovate and look for solutions to ease the suffering of hardworking employees who, through no fault of their own, have lost their jobs due to this pandemic,” pahayag ni Belmonte.
