Mga opisyal ng BI, binalaan vs pagpo-post ng Tiktok videos habang naka-uniporme
Mahigpit na binalaan ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) ang kanilang mga opisyal na nakatalaga sa international airports na istriktong sundin ang direktiba ukol sa pagbabawal ng pagpo-post ng Tiktok video nang sumasayaw o kumakanta habang nakasuot ng uniporme.
Sa isang memorandum sa lahat ng BI port personnel, sinabi ni Immigration port operations chief Atty. Carlos Capulong na sinumang empleyado na lumabag sa kautusan ay maaring maharap sa administrative cases dahil sa insubordination at misconduct.
Ipinag-utos aniya sa kaniya ni BI Commissioner Jaime Morente na imbestigahan ang mga ulat na ilang tauhan ng BI sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) ang patuloy na nagpo-post ng videos sa Tiktok habang nasa gitna ng duty at nakasuot ng uniporme.
“I was instructed by Commissioner Morente to hold these errant employees liable by forwarding their cases to our board of discipline for investigation and filing of the appropriate administrative cases,” ani Capulong.
Paalala pa sa BI personnel, tumalima sa panuntunan ukol sa pagbabawal ng paggamit ng cellular phones at iba pang electronic gadgets habang naka-duty.
Giit ni Capulong, hindi makakapaggawa ng Tiktok videos ang mga empleyado kung hindi nila dala sa gitna ng duty ang kanilang mobile phones at iba pang gadget.
Noong December 2020, ipinagbawal ni Morente sa mga empleyado ng BI ang pagpo-post ng Tiktok video habang nakasuot ng uniporme.
”Our policy on the wearing of the BI uniform is clear. As public servants, employees must proudly wear their uniform at all times, present a professional image to the public and observe proper decorum and good taste in all their actions while they are on duty,” saad ni Morente sa naturang memorandum.
Dagdag nito, maaring pahinain ng Tiktok videos ang reputasyon ng ahensya at magkaroon ng negatibong imahe.
