Sinimulan na ng Quezon City government ang online booking para sa pagbabakuna kontra COVID-19 sa mga batang may comorbidities.
Ayon kay Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, ito ay matapos aprubahan ng Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) ang hiling ng lokal na pamahalaan na mabigyang proteksyon ang mga bata gamit ang mga bakunang binigyan ng Emergency Use Authorization ng Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
“We have seen in the past months how the virus has been affecting our kids as well. It’s high time that we expand the vaccination program to them. We, in the local government, would like to assure everyone that the inoculation process for the children will be as smooth, if not better, as the ones we had for the adults,” pahayag ni Mayor Belmonte.
Gagawin ang kick-off activity ngayong 2:00 ng hapon, October 22 sa Quezon City General Hospital.
Dadalo sina Mayor Belmonte, Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya ng Department of Interior and Local Government at mga kinatawan mula sa Department of Health.
Ayon kay Dr. Maria Lourdes Eleria ng QC Task Force Vax to Normal na Pfizer at Moderna ang gagamiting bakuna.
