Nag-deploy ang Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) ng mga bus para maserbisyuhan ang mga pasahero ng EDSA busway simula noong Martes, October 19.
Ayon kay Inter-Agency Council for Traffic (I-ACT) Chief Manuel Gonzales, inaasahan na kasi ang pagdagsa ng mga pasahero sa EDSA kasunod ng pagpapatupad ng Alert Level 3 sa National Capital Region (NCR).
Sa araw ng Martes, mahigit 600 pasahero ang naserbisyuhan ng PCG buses.
Sinabi ng PCG na magpapatuloy ang libreng sakay ng PCG sa rutang MOA – PITX – Monumento at pabalik mula 7:00 ng umaga hanggang 10:00 ng gabi.
Tatagal ang serbisyo ng PCG bus hanggang sa Biyernes, October 22.
