Nakumpiska ng Bureau of Customs – Port of Clark International Airport ang tatlong bote ng Curegenics CBD Tincture.
Unang idineklara ang parcel bilang “Overcounter drugs for personal use”.
Ngunit nang isailalim sa eksminasyon, nadikubre ang tatlong 30ML bottles ng Cureganics CBD Tincture na 250mg, 500mg at 1000mg.
Sa tulong ng isinagawang chemical laboratory analysis ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region III, nakumpirmang naglalaman ng Marijuana ang naturang produkto.
Agad namang naglabas ng Warrant of Seizure and Detention si District Collector Alexandra Lumontad laban sa shipment dahil sa paglabag sa Sections 118 (g), 119 (d), 1113 (f) at 1401 ng Republic Act No. 10863 o Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA) na may kinalaman sa Republic Act No. 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Dinala din ang ilegal na droga sa PDEA alinsunod sa Customs Administrative Order No. 03-2020.
