BOC, sinira ang anim na makina sa paggawa ng pekeng sigarilyo
Winasak ng Bureau of Customs (BOC)-Port of Aparri ang anim na makina sa paggawa ng pekeng sigarilyo sa Porac, Pampanga.
Sinira ang mga makina sa bahagi ng Greenleaf 88 Waste Disposal and Management Facility sa Barangay Mitla.
Maliban dito, sinira rin ng ahensya ang walong rolyo ng foil wrap, isang rolyo ng tipping paper, 15 rolyo ng puting papel, 400 rolyo ng plastic wrap, 10 rolyo ng Philip Morris Philippines Manufacturing Inc. tape, at pitong rolyo ng Mighty tape.
Nasamsam ang mga kontranbando noong September 2, 2021 dahil sa paglabag sa Sections 118 (g), 224 at 1113 ng Customs Modernization and Tariff Act na may kinalaman sa Articles IV at V ng Amended Rules and Regulations Governing the Exportation and Importation of Leaf Tobacco and Tobacco Products Series of 2005.
Nangako naman ang BOC-Port of Aparri, sa ilalim na pamumuno ni BOC Commissioner Rey Leonardo Guerrero, na patuloy nilang paiigtingin ang border protection laban sa smuggling at iba pang ilegal na kalakal.
