Magkapatid na Pharmally execs gustong makulong ni Sen. Drilon sa Senado
Ipina-contempt ni Senate Minority Leader Franklin Drilon ang magkapatid na Mohit at Twinkle Dargani, ang president at treasurer ng Pharmally Pharmaceutical.
Ginawa ni Drilon ang hakbang sa pagpapatuloy ng pagdinig ng Senate Blue Ribbon Committee sa sinasabing ‘Pharmally – DBM – DOH scandal,’ kaugnay sa pagbili ng COVID-19 medical supplies.
Sinabi din ng senador na nais niyang maaresto at makulong sa Senado ang magkapatid na Dargani.
Ito ay dahil sa patuloy na pagtanggi ng dalawa na sumunod sa subpoena at subpoena duces tecum kaugnay sa mga dokumento na hinihingi ng komite.
“Let Mr. Dargani question us in court. We are willing to stand by this,” hamon ni Drilon.
Hiniling din niya sa Senate Sergeant-at-Arms na isilbi ang subpoena kay Pharmally accountant Jeff Mariano dahil sa pagtanggi pa rin nitong tanggapin ang subpoena.
