BI, nilinaw na bawal pa ang pagpasok ng mga dayuhang turista sa Pilipinas

Nilinaw ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) na hindi pa pinapayagan ang pagpasok ng mga dayuhang turista sa Pilipinas, kahit ang mga magmumula sa green list countries.

Inihayag ni BI Commissioner Jaime Morente na tanging mga Filipino, balikbayan, at may valid at existing long term visas mula sa green at yellow list countries ang maaring pumasok.

Ginawa nito ang paglilinaw kasunod ng mga natatanggap na tanong mula sa mga dayuhang turista na nais makapunta sa Pilipinas.

Dagdag nito, maaring makauwi ng Pilipinas ang mga Filipino mula sa red list countries sa pamamagitan ng repatriation flights at bayanihan flights na inorganisa ng government o non-government agencies.

Nitong October 15, 2021 naglabas ang Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) ng updated list ng Red, Green and Yellow List counries epektibo mula October 16 hanggang 31, 2021.

Inilagay ang Romania sa Red List, habang 49 countries naman ang nasa Green list kabilang ang Algeria, American Samoa, Bhutan, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cayman Islands, Chad, China (Mainland), Comoros, Republic of the Congo, Cook Islands, Eritrea, Falkland Islands (Malvinas), Gibraltar, Hong Kong (Special Administrative Region of China), Kiribati, Madagascar, Mali, Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Montserrat, Nauru, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Niger, Niue, North Korea, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Poland, Saba (Special Municipality of the Kingdom of the Netherlands), Saint Helena, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Samoa, Sierra Leone, Sint Eustatius, Solomon Islands, Sudan, Syria, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Tokelau, Tonga, Turkmenistan, Tuvalu, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu at Yemen.

Sinabi naman ng IATF-MEID na nasa Yellow List ang mga bansang hindi nabanggit.

“Despite these travel restrictions, we remain hopeful that international travel will be safely revived soon,” ani Morente.
