Sens. Zubiri, Villanueva pasok sa ‘senatorial line-ups’ ng tatlong presidentiables
Isinama sina Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri at Senator Joel Villanueva sa ‘senatorial tickets’ nina Vice President Leni Robredo, Senator Panfilo Lacson at Senator Manny Pacquiao.
Bunga nito, nagpalabas sina Zubiri at Villanueva ng hiwalay na mensahe ng pasasalamat sa pagtitiwala ng tatlong presidential candidates.
“I still remain an independent candidate – at the end of the day, ang loyalty ko po ay sa taumbayan, hindi sa anumang partido,” sabi ni Zubiri.
Aniya, siya ay ‘team player’ at magagawa niyang makatrabaho ang sinumang pangulo basta para sa kapakanan ng bansa at mamamayang Filipino.
Sa bahagi naman ni Villanueva, sinabi nito na ang pagpili sa kanya nina Robredo, Lacson at Pacquiao ay pagpapatunay lamang na karapat-dapat pa rin siyang bumalik sa Senado.
“It is both a validation of our track record in the Senate and an affirmation that TESDAMAN is deserving and can continue to make a difference in the Senate,” aniya.
Bukod naman sa kanila, kasama rin sa line-up nina Pacquiao at Lacson sina dating Vice President Jejomar Binay at Sen. Richard Gordon.
