Walk-in sa pagbakuna sa mga menor de edad dapat ipagbawal – Sen. Gatchalian

Dapat ipagbawal ang ‘walk in’ kapag nagsimula na ang pagbakuna sa mga menor de edad ng COVID 19 vaccines, ayon kay Senator Sherwin Gatchalian.

 

Katuwiran ni Gatchalian, ito ay para maiwasan ang maraming tao sa mga vaccination areas.

 

“I would discourage the NTF from doing a first-come, first-served walk-in type of arrangement,” ayon sa senador.

 

Dagdag pa niya, “We don’t allow a walk-in type of arrangement dahil talagang mag-iipon-ipon ang mga tao, especially now that the weather condition is unpredictable at maya’t maya ay umuulan. Let’s not do a walk-in type of arrangement because that will really spell disaster at the end.”

 

Ayon sa National Task Force – COVID 19 may 12.7 milyon sa bansa na nasa 12 hanggang 17 ang edad at sa pagtataya ng Department of Health (DOH), 10 porsiyento ng bilang ay may comorbidities.

 

Unang ikakasa ang ‘pediatric vaccination’ mula sa darating na Oktubre 15 hanggang 30 sa National Children’s Hospital, Philippine Heart Center, Pasig City Children’s Hospital, Fe Del Mundo Medical Center, Philippine General Hospital, Makati Medical Center, St. Luke’s Medical Center sa Taguig, at Philippine Children’s Medical Center.
