Isang barko sumadsad sa Nasugbu, Batangas

Rumesponde ang Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) sa isang maritime incident kung saan sangkot ang domestic vessel na LCT Metal Hawk that na may sakay na 17 crew members, kabilang ang kapitan.

Sumadsad ang barko sa baybaying sakp ng Barangay Wawa bandang 8:00 ng umaga.

Pag-aari ng Marine Vest Company ang naturang barko na nakabase sa Surigao Del Sur.

Ayon sa kapitan, umalis ang barko sa Port of Subic sa Zambales noong October 9, 2021 dala ang 1,000 metrikong tonelada ng buhangin patungo sa Port of Nasugbu sa Batangas.

Nag-inspeksyon naman ang PCG Sub-Station Nasugbu at Marine Environmental Protection Group – Batangas sa nasabing lugar dahil sa posibleng oil spills at kinakailangang tulong.
