P128 milyong pondo nakalaan para sa mga biktima ng Tropical Storm Maring
Mahigpit nan aka-monitor ang Palasyo ng Malakanyang sa lagay ng Tropical Storm Maring.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, mayroon nang naka-standby fund ang Department of Social Welfare and Development na P128 milyon.
Bukod dito, sinabi ni Roque na mayroon na ring 373,737 na food packs na nagkakahalaga ng P219 milyon.
Sinabi pa ni Roque na naka-deploy na ang rescue personnel at teams mula sa local government units.
May suportang puwersa na rin aniya ang Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine National Police at Bureau of Fire Protection.
Ayon kay Roque, base sa ulat ng National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, nagpapatuloy ang power at water supply restoration at clearing operations sa mga kalsada na naapektuhan ng bagyo.
Sa ngayon, aabot sa 465 pamilya o 1,585 katao mula sa Regions 2 at 8 ang inilikas sa mas ligtas na lugar.
Umaapela ang Palasyo sa publiko na manatiling alerto at mag-ingat kasabay ng pagsunod sa minimum health standards na inilatag kontra COVID-19.
Ayon kay Roque, dapat din na makipag ugnayan at sumunod sa local na pamahalaan kung ipag-uutos ang paglikas.
