AFP, nag-deploy ng walong nurse sa Lung Center of the Philippines
“We are all equally affected by the impact of the pandemic but in situations when our fellow healthcare workers are feeling low, a friend or even a stranger who will extend sincere help expecting nothing in return, may be the beacon of hope,” saad ni Navarro.
Dagdag nito, “We cannot eliminate infectious diseases or pandemics but we can be the helping hand while awaiting our return to new normal after each event.”
Sasailalim sa isang buwang deployment ang dalawang team mula sa AFP Nurse Corps alinsunod sa Memorandum of Agreement ng AFP at Department of Health (DOH).
Kabilang sa unang batch na isang all-reservists team sina 2nd Lieutenant Federico Muyco, 2LT Joey Cabaluna at 2LT Laviña Augusto.
Kabilang naman sa ikalawang team sina 1st Lieutenant Fernando Velarde, 2LT Raul Ramos, 2LT Abner Andamon, P2LT Chrissen Valmonte, at P2LT Leslie Ann Muñez.
