Naging kontrobersiyal si Gadon nang tawaging bobo ang mga taga-suporta ni dating Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno sa Baguio City. Binigyan din ni Gadon ang mga ito ng middle finger.
Nahaharap din sa kasing disbarment si Gadon.
Taong 2016 at 2019 nang kumandidato si Gadon sa pagka-senador pero parehong natalo.
