Walang leadership vacuum kahit na kumandidato ang Cabinet officials – Malakanyang

Tiniyak ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang na patuloy na gagana ang gobyerno at walang leadership vacuum kahit na kumandidato sa 2022 National Elections ang ilang miyembro ng Gabinete ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, patuloy na gagana ang pamahalaan at patuloy ang pagbibigay serbisyo publiko.

Sinabi pa ni Roque na mayroong undersecretaries at assistant secretaries na pupuno sa tungkulin ng secretaries.

Sa ngayon, sinabi ni Roque na hindi pa niya batid kung sinong mga miyembro ng Gabinete ang magbibitiw sa puwesto at kakandidato.

“Wala pa po akong nababalitaang nagri-resign. Ang paghain naman po ng certificate of candidacy will have the effect of resignation. Okay? So hindi na po kinakailangang mag-resign kapag naghain ng certificate of candidacy. At ang aking inuulit-ulit po, hindi po ibig sabihin na palibhasa mawawala ang sekretaryo, magkakaroon na po ng leadership vacuum kasi palagi po iyang mayroong OIC. Kaya po mayroon tayong palaging Usec at mga ASec sa iba’t ibang departamento,” pahayag ni Roque.

Hindi rin direktang sinagot ni Roque ang tanong kung kakandidatong senador sa susunod na eleksyon.

Base sa senatorial line up ng PDP-Laban, kasama sa listahan sina Roque, Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles, Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III, Transportation Secretary Art Tugade, Public Works and Highways Mark Villar, Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo, Agrarian Reform Secretary John Castriciones, at Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission chairperson Greco Belgica.
