P13.5-M halaga ng ipinuslit na sibuyas, sinunog ng BOC

Sinunog ng Bureau of Customs-Port of Cagayan de Oro (BOC-CDO) ang P13.5 milyong halaga ng smuggled na sibuyas sa loob ng pasilidad ng Terra Cycliq Corporation sa bahagi ng Barangay Mantibugao, Manolo Fortich sa Bukidnon.

Nasamsam ng Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service CDO (CIIS-CDO) ang mga naipuslit na sibuyas matapos makatanggap ng intelligence report ukol sa shipment galing sa China.

Idineklara ang shipment na naglalaman umano ng “cream cheese” at “frozen puff pastries”.

Naka-consign ang shipment sa JDFallar Consumer Goods Trading at dumating sa Mindanao Container Terminal Sub-port noong August 10, 2021.

Agad naglabas si Atty. Elvira Cruz, District Collector ng Port of CDO, ng alert order laban sa shipment at isinailalim sa 100 porsyentong physical examination.

Sinabi pa ng BOC na paglabag sa batas ang misdeclaration.

Nagbabala naman ang BOC laban sa nga importer.

Magsasampa ng kaso ang ahensya laban sa consignee.
