Pansamantalang isususpinde ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) ang Consular Office (CO) NCR-Northeast sa Ali Mall sa Quezon City, simula September 27 hanggang October 1, 2021.
Paliwanag ng kagawaran, may ilang tauhan ng CO NCR-Northeast na nagpositibo sa COVID-19 habang ang iba ay tinukoy bilang close contacts.
Magsasagawa ng masusing disinfection sa lugar at susunod sa isolation at quarantine guidelines ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for Emerging Infectious Diseases.
Ayon sa kagawaran, makakatanggap ang mga apektadong aplikante ng email ukol sa alternatibong alternative passport appointment schedule.
Humingi naman ng pang-unawa ang DFA sa publiko.
