DepEd, nagpasalamat sa 100-percent enrollment turnout para sa S.Y. 2021-2022

Nagpasalamat ang Department of Education (DepEd) sa mga magulang at mag-aaral makaraang malampasan ang 100 porsyentong enrollment turnout para sa School Year 2021-2022.

Base sa ulat ng Learner Information System (LIS) Quick Count noong September 18, 2021, nasa 28,219,623 estudyante ang nakapagrehistro o 107.6 porsyento kumpara sa enrollment noong 2020.

Lumabas din sa datos na 15 sa 17 rehiyon ang nakaabot ng humigit-kumulang 100 porsyentong enrollment rate, kung saan lumalabas na nagbalik-eskwela na rin ang ibang mag-aaral na hindi nag-enroll noong nakaraang taon.

Sa ngayon, Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) ang may pinakamataas na enrollment turnout rate na may kabuuang bilang na 1,117,725 enrollees.

“We thank our field offices, school heads, and teachers for their dedication and hardwork in encouraging the public to enroll. Likewise, we are grateful to the parents of our learners who continue to put their trust and support in DepEd and for learning continuity amidst the pandemic,” saad ni Briones.

Sa patuloy na pagtaas ng bilang ng enrollment, sinabi ng kalihim na umaasa ang DepEd na mas dadami pa ang mag-aaral na magpapatala hanggang Setyembre 30, ang huling araw para sa enrollment.

“We expect the number to increase since we are extending the enrollment. It is a common practice of the Department to extend the enrollment,” dagdag ni Briones.
