Dumating na sa bansa ang 661,200 doses ng AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.
Dumating ang mga bakuna sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport sakay ng China Airlines kaninang 9:20 ng umaga.
Nabatid na ang mga dumating na bakuna ay binili ng pribadong sektor sa pamamagitan ng tripartite agreement.
Sina vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. at presidential adviser for entrepreneurship Joey Concepcion ang sumalubong ng mga bakuna.
Sa ngayon, nasa 58.2 milyong doses na ng COVID-19 ang nakukuha ng Pilipinas.
