Binawi ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) ang pilot implementation ng General Community Quarantine (GCQ) with alert levels system sa National Capital Region (NCR).
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, mananatili muna sa kasalukuyang risk classification bilang Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) sa Metro Manila hanggang September 15, 2021 o hanggang maipatupad ang pilot GCQ with Alert Level System o alin ang mauna sa dalawa.
Dahil dito, sinabi ni Roque na mananatiling bawal ang indoor at al-fresco dine-in services, personal care services kasama na ang beauty salons, beauty parlors at nail spas.
Papayagan naman ang religious services pero ito ay online video recording and transmission lamang.
Papayagan naman ang immediate family members na dumalo sa necrological services, wakes, inurnment at funerals basta ang sanhi ng pagkamatay ng isang tao ay hindi dahil sa as COVID-19.
Kailangan lamang na magpakita ng satisfactory proof na kamag,anak nila ang namatay at kinakailangang sumunod sa minimum public health standards.
