P2.1-M halaga ng kush, nasamsam ng BOC; Lalaking tatanggap ng parcel, timbog

Nasamsam ng Bureau of Customs Port of NAIA ang 1.8 kilo ng Kush o high-grade marijuana.

Magkatuwang sa isinagawang controlled delivery ang BOC, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), at NAIA Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group (NAIA-IADITG) sa Marikina City na nagresulta sa pagkakaaresto ng consignee umano ng parcel na si Arthur F. Antonio.

Unang idineklara ang parcel na naglalaman ng cookies, balloons, laruan at school supplies mula sa isang Allan Gatchalian sa California, USA.

Nang isailalim sa eksaminasyon, tumambad sa mga awtoridad ang Kush na nagkakahalaga ng P2.198 milyon.

Magsasagawa ng mas malalim na imbestigasyon laban sa tatanggap dapat ng parcel dahil sa posibleng paglabag sa Section 1114 ng Republic Act 10863 o Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA) at Republic Act 9165 o Anti-illegal Drugs Act.
