VICOAP, ikinalugod ang suporta sa panawagang pagpapatuloy ng PMVIC program
Ikinalugod ng mga miyembro ng Vehicle Inspection Center Operators Association of the Philippines (VICOAP) ang suporta ng pamunuan ng JoyRide PH sa panawagang pagpapatuloy ng mandatory implementation ng Private Motor Vehicle Inspection (PMVIC) Program.
Sinabi ng grupo na nahikayat sila ng pagtitiwala ng motorcycle taxi service provider sa isinasagawang comprehensive motor vehicle inspection service ng kanilang mga center.
“As a full-pledged participant to the Motorcycle Taxi Pilot Study, we commend JoyRide PH’s commitment to instill and ensure road safety as a crucial factor in its daily operations, to protect not only its riders, but more importantly, its clients and the public,” saad ng VICOAP.
Katuwang ang JoyRide PH, Department of Transportation (DOTr) at Land Transportation Office (LTO), tiniyak ng grupo na patuloy nilang pagbubutihin ang inspection services upang maabot ang nais na mas ligtas, moderno at tipid na public transport landscape.
Dagdag ng grupo, “This will be our collective contribution to provide quality of life for commuters and to make transportation a catalyst for our nation’s progress – gradually leading the motoring public towards an era of responsible vehicle ownership.”
Kaisa rin sa panawagan ang Liga ng Transportasyon at Operators sa Pilipinas Inc. (LTOP), Alliance of Transport Operators and Drivers Association of the Philippines (ALTODAP), Federation of Jeepney Operators and Drivers Association of the Philippines (FEJODAP), Pasang Masda at Alliance and Concern Transport Organization Inc. (ACTO).
