Paggamit ng TV at radio lessons para sa S.Y. 2021-2022, paiigtingin ng DepEd
Paiigtingin ng Department of Education (DepEd) ang paggamit ng TV at radio-based materials upang mas masuportahan ang pagpapatupad ng blended learning para sa School Year 2021-2022.
“Hindi natin maikakaila na hindi mawawala ang mahalagang papel na ginagampanan ng TV at radio sa bansa sa paghatid ng edukasyon sapagkat hindi lahat ay may access sa internet,” pahayag ni DepEd Secretary Leonor Briones.
Aniya, kailangan accessible sa lahat ng mga mag-aaral ang learning opportunities.
Sinabi ng kagawaran na isasalin rin sa DepEd TV episode at radio-based lessons ang Self-Learning Modules (SLMs) sa mga paaralan at field office.
Ayon naman kay Undersecretary at Chief of Staff Nepomuceno Malaluan, nais nilang epektibong maisama ang naturang materyales sa instructional plans para sa nalalapit na pasukan.
“This school year will be different as the commitment that we have in the contextualization and adjustments by our regions is on how to effectively integrate these in the instructional programming of the teachers,” ani Malaluan.
Dagdag pa nito, “These radio and TV episodes are now digitally available and we have a database that is indexed by Grade Level, Quarter, Episode Title, Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELCs) Mapping, and CG Code.”
Ipinapalabas ang kumpletong kabanata ng DepEd TV sa ilang TV stations tulad ng IBC13, GMA7, Cignal, GSat, Grace TV, Solar, Planet Cable, Pacific Kabelnet, Mabuhay Pilipinas TV, at PCTA members, at sabay ring ineere sa mga radyo.
Sa School Year 2020-2021, nakagawa ang DepEd TV ng 1107 first quarter at 320 second quarter video lessons na nakahanay sa Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELCs).
