Bagong hospital facility sa Davao City, nai-turnover na

Nai-turnover na ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang karagdagang hospital facility para sa mga pasyente ng Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) sa Bajada, Davao City.

Ayon kay DPWH Secretary at Isolation Czar Mark Villar, nakumpleto ang dalawang unit ng modular hospital na may 44 total bed capacity para matutukan ang paggaling ng mga moderate hanggang severe COVID-19 patient.

Itinayo ang bagong pasilidad ng DPWH Task Force to Facilitate Augmentation of Local/National Health Facility katuwang ang Regional Office 11 upang mabawasan ang overcrowding ng mga pasyente sa SPMC.

Ayon naman kay DPWH Undersecretary Emil Sadain, pinuno ng DPWH Task Force to Facilitate Augmentation of Local/National Health Facility, nai-turnover ang dalawang hospital building upang magamit na noong September 1, 2021.

Bilang suporta sa pagresponde sa pandemya, minadali ng DPWH, kasama ang partner contractor Nationstar Development Corporation, ang konstruksyon ng modular hospital facility na may airconditioned room, toilet and bath, ventilation system na may high-efficiency particulate absorbing filters, standby generators, medical gas system, public address system at nurse station.

Sa ngayon, umabot na sa 685 ang bilang ng naitayong quarantine/isolation facilities sa bansa na may 26,329 beds; 22 modular hospitals na may 453 beds, at 51 off-site dormitories na may 1,320 beds.
