Pondo ng Red Cross pinapa-audit ni Pangulong Duterte sa COA

Hiniling ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa Commission on Audit na i-audit ang pondo ng Philippine Red Cross na pinamumunuan ni Senador Richard Gordon.
Ayon sa Pangulo, ginagawa na kasing gatasan ni Gordon ang pondo ng Red Cross para matustusan ang kanyang kandidatura sa eleksyon.
Isa sa pinakamabaho at pinakamalaking pagkakamali aniya na ginawa ni Gordon ay ang ipatigil ang pagsasagawa ng COVID test dahil sa hindi kaagad na nakabayad ang Philhealth.
“Ang pinakamabaho na nakita ko sa iyo is when you threatened to stop testing. Anak ka ng ikaw — hindi mo maintindihan,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
Titingnan din ng Pangulo ang record ni Gordon kung nasangkot ito sa malversation of funds.
Ulitin ko, iyong ginawa mo, you threatened government that you will stop, you stop testing people so that they will die just because you are not paid and the money that you have accumulated all these years would run into billions at ang gusto kong makita ‘yung audit talaga ng totoo ng Red Cross.
