Pumanaw na ang 2016 Rio Paralympics bronze medalist na si Josephine Medina.

Kinumpirma ito ng Philippine Table Tennis Federation (PTTF) sa Facebook.

“The PTTF Family would like to send our deepest condolences to the family of Ms. Josephine Medina, Bronze medalist in the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games. You will be missed by your table tennis family. May your soul rest in peace Jo. πŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌ,” saad ng PTTF.

Si Medina ang nagtapos ng 16 taong medal drought ng Pilipinas nang makapag-uwi ng bronze medal sa Rio.

Lumabas ang balita ng pagpanaw ni Medina kasabay ng ikatlong death anniversary ng kauna-unahang Philippine Table Tennis Olympian na si Ian Lariba.
