Pagpapalabas ng SALN ni Pangulong Duterte sa Ombudsman, ginagawa tayong tanga – de Lima
Sinabi ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na bahala na ang Office of the Ombudsman kung isasapubliko ang Statement of Assest, Liabilities and Networth (SALN).
“Ginagawa na naman tayong tanga ng mga ito,” ito naman ang naging tugon ni Sen. Leila de Lima sa sinabi ng Punong Ehekutibo.
Dagdag pa ng senadora, “Mr. Duterte, how difficult is it to release your SALN to the public if you really want to and are sincere in adhering to your constitutional duty to be transparent and accountable to the people? Do you really still need the help of the Ombudsman to decide for you whether or not to disclose your SALN to the people.”
Ayon pa kay de Lima, hindi niya alam ang dahilan ng takot ni Pangulong Duterte na ilabas ang kanyang SALN.
Hamon niya sa Pangulo, magpakalalaki at huwag magtago sa likod ng Ombudsman.
“Sa ilalim ng saya ng Ombudsman mo pa napiling magtago. Stop hiding under the skirt of the Ombudsman. Man up and show the people that you have nothing to hide. Otherwise, you are just another coward who does not deserve to be in government,” sabi pa ni de Lima.
