St. Luke’s Medical Center, nilinaw na wala sa ‘alarming levels’ ang pagre-resign ng mga nurse

Nagbigay ng paglilinaw ang St. Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC) ukol sa bilang ng mga nurse na nagbibitiw sa pwesto.

“St. Luke’s Medical Center would like to clarify that the number of nurses resigning is not at alarming levels as earlier reported,” saad ng pamunuan ng ospital.

Inihayag ito ng ospital matapos sabihin ni SLMC Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer Benjamin Campomanes Jr. sa isang interview na nahaharap ang naturang ospital sa manpower problems dahil sa pagre-resign ng ilang nurse.

Ayon sa SLMC, bago pa tumama ang pandemya, tuluy-tuloy ang kanilang pagkuha at pagsasanay ng mga nurse para sa ospital.

““Even before the pandemic, we have been continuously hiring and training nurses for both hospitals to ensure that any resignation will be immediately addressed,” paliwanag ng ospital.

Dagdag nito, “Rest assured, SLMC is fully prepared to realign its workforce with the current demands to prevent any disruption of hospital services and patient care.”
