Bilang ng enrollees para sa S.Y. 2021-2022, umabot na sa 8.5-M
Sumampa na sa 8.5 milyong mag-aaral ang nakapag-enroll para sa School Year 2021-2021, ayon sa Department of Education (DepEd).
Sa datos hanggang August 25, umabot sa 8,557,205 ang kabuuang bilang ng enrollees sa bansa, kabilang ang pampubliko at pribadong paaralan.
Sa datos mula sa Learner Information System (LIS) Quick Count, naitala ang pinakamataas na bilang ng enrolleees sa Region IV-A (Calabarzon) na may 1,430,535 at sinundan ng Region III (Central Luzon) na may 829,624 at National Capital Regiona (NCR) na may 815,857.
“As we continuously prepare for a smooth opening of classes, we are urging parents and learners to communicate with their respective schools for the enrollment procedures. I also call those who did not enroll last school year to register now,” pahayag ni Education Secretary Leonor Briones.
Sinabi ng kalihim na mayroong pagbagal sa pagre-report ng enrollment data dahil may ibang paaralan na kinukuha muna ang enrollment forms, lalo na ang galing sa drop-box bago i-report.
“To optimize the process and ensure the protection of health and safety of our learners, schools may facilitate dropbox enrollment through setting up booths and kiosk in front of the school, barangay hall, and other visible locations that are accessible to parents and guardians, subject to health and safety standards imposed by the IATF,” dagdag ni Briones.
Para sa mga estudyante na papasok sa Grades 1 hanggang 6, 8 hanggang 10, at 12, makikipag-ugnayan ang mga paaralan sa mga magulang sa pamamagitan ng mga dating class adviser.
Ang mga magulang ng paparating na Kindergarten, Grades 7 at 11 na mag-aaral naman ang makikipag-ugnayan upang iparating ang intensyong i-enroll ang kanilang mga anak sa napiling paaralan sa pamamagitan ng digital o physical enrollment platforms.
Direkta namang makikipag-ugnayan ang mga transferee, Balik-Aral, at ALS enrollees sa nais pasukang paaralan sa pamamagitan ng enrollment contact details.
Nagsimula ang enrollment noong August 16 at magtutuloy hanggang sa pagbubukas ng klase sa September 13, 2021.
