Utos na ‘doktorin’ ang COA reports pinuna ni Sen. Leila de Lima
Mas gugustuhin ni Pangulong Duterte na maging tiwali ang Commission on Audit (COA) sa halip na ipaayos sa mga ahensiya ang paggasta ng kanilang pondo.
Reaksyon ito ni Sen. Leila de Lima sa utos ni Pangulong Duterte sa COA na ‘i-reconfigure’ ang kanilang mga ulat.
“Whatever dictionary he is using, that word definitely does not bode well for COA. In the first place, never in the history of the post-EDSA Republic did a President even dare to tell COA what to do. But that is only because past Presidents, even Gloria Arroyo, knew their limits and had shame,” diin nito.
Dagdag pa niya: “Kung hindi ka ba naman mapapamura, sila na nga ang magnanakaw, sila pa ang makapal na magsasabi sa COA na hayaan lang silang magnakaw.”
Diin niya sinisira ng Punong Ehekutibo ang institusyon at isinasama pa niya ang buong bansa sa kanyang pagbagsak.
Bunga nito, nanawagan ang senadora sa sambayan na magdasal ng husto para matapos na ang aniyang sumpa sa bansa dulot ng kasalukuyang administrasyon.
