Pamamahagi ng ayuda sa NCR, Laguna, Bataan tuloy pa rin kahit inilipat sa MECQ
Nilinaw ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) na itutuloy pa rin ang pamahahagi ng cash assistance sa National Capital Region (NCR), Laguna, at Bataan kahit inilipat na sa Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) ang mga nasabing lugar.
“It’s not true that the Ayuda for NCR Plus will stop because we have shifted to MECQ. That is fake news,” pahayag ni DILG Undersecretary at Spokesperson Jonathan Malaya.
Kahit mas marami na ang balik-trabaho, ipinangako aniya ng gobyerno ang ayuda kung kayat itutuloy ang distribusyon nito kahit binago ang quarantine classification ang mga nabanggit na lugar.
Kinondena nito ang mga nagkakalat ng mga maling balita sa social media.
“The funds have been downloaded to the local government units (LGUs) and we will continue until the last peso is distributed,” ani Malaya.
Sa datos hanggang August 21, nasa P8.4 bilyon sa pondo ang naipamahagi sa mahigit 8.4 milyong beneficiaries sa NCR.
Katumbas aniya ito ng 75 porsyento ng pondo para sa Metro Manila.
Pinakamaagang nakakumpleto ng pamamahagi ng ayuda ay ang Caloocan City kung saan nasa P1.3 bilyon ang nai-release sa 1.3 milyong beneficiaries, ani Malaya.
Sumunod dito ang Pateros na nasa 96.87 porsyento ng distribusyon, Maynila na nasa 82.71 porsyento, Mandaluyong sa 82.52 porsyento, at Parañaque na nasa 77.89 porsyento.
Maaring makumpleto ng mga LGU ang distribution hanggang April 25 ngunit tatanggap ang DILG, Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), at Department of National Defense (DND) ng mga kahilingan upang palawigin sa case-to-case basis.
“We understand the challenges in the distribution of this financial aid considering the need to control the number of people in distribution points because of the pandemic,” saad ni Malaya at aniya pa, “Still, we are calling on our mayors and punong barangays to ensure that the target beneficiaries will receive the ayuda the earliest possible time.”
