Naka-confine ngayon sa Medical City Clark si Senator Lito Lapid dahil sa taglay nito ang 2019 coronavirus.
Sa impormasyon mula sa kanyang opisina, nakumpirma ang pagkakasakit ng senador matapos sumailalim sa swab test.
Sinabi ni Atty. Jericho Acedera, ang chief of staff ni Lapid, itinuturing na mild to moderate ang kaso ng senador.
Ayon pa kay Acedera sumailalim na rin sa test ang mga naging ‘close contacts’ ni Lapid at pinagbilinan na sumunod sa COVID 19 protocols.
Dagdag pa niya ang lahat ng personal at close-in employees ng senador ay negatibo na sa sakit at walang mga sintomas.
“We enjoin everyone to pray that his health and of all those infected continue to improve, and more importantly, for this pandemic to soon be over,” sabi pa nito.
