Sen. Grace Poe sa IATF: Konsultahin ang mga maliliit na negosyo
Pinagbilinan ni Senator Grace Poe ang Inter Agency Task Force (IATF) na kausapin ang mga maliliit na negosyo sa tuwing nagbabalak na magpatupad ng lockdown.
Katuwiran ni Poe sa huling minuto na nalalaman ng mga micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) na paiiralin muli ang pinakamahigpit na quarantine restriction ngunit nabili na nila ang kanilang mga kakailanganin para sa kanilang negosyo.
“Business owners are not really aware that there’s going to be a lockdown the following day until the very last minute, and they’ve already planned for the entire week especially since the weekend can make or break some businesses. So while they’re in agreement that we should have some sort of a lockdown, a good lead time will be very important,” saad ni Poe.
Aniya kung agad napapagsabihan ng IATF ang mga negosyo maiiwasan io mababawasan ang pagkalugi.
Una nang inihain ni Poe ang Senate Resolution No. 817 para lubos na masuri kung paano nakaka-apekto ang pagpapairal ng ibat-ibang quarantine restrictions sa mga maliliit na negosyo, lalo na ang mga linya ng pagkain.
Base sa datos ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) noong nakaraang Hunyo, 10 porsiyento ng mga maliliit na negosyo ang nagsara at sa pag-iral muli ng ECQ ay pinaniwalaan na tataas ito sa 16 porsiyento.
