Naglunsad ang Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ng nationwide virtual job fair na pinamagatang “Bigay Trabaho”: DPWH Jobs Fair 2021.
Ayon kay DPWH Secretary Mark Villar, layon ng proyekto na makapagbigay ng trabaho sa maraming Pilipino sa gitna ng pandemya.
Katuwang ng kagawaran sa naturang proyekto ang kanilang mga contractor.
“I am inviting jobseekers to check our website, our official social media sites for job postings starting Monday, or they can directly contact us at: Landline no. (02) 16502, Viber no. 0961-684-7084, or email at markvillar_bigaytrabaho.dpwh.gov.ph,” pahayag ng kalihim.
Dagdag nito, “Our Build, Build, Build Program will still require millions of local manpower nationwide despite the pandemic. Jobs will allow communities to recover from the economic impact of COVID-19.”
Sa taong 2021, aabot sa 1.6 milyon ang nabigyan ng trabaho ng DPWH mula sa 2021 budget na P695.7 bilyon.
Maari ring magtungo ang mga aplikante sa opisyal na Facebook pages ng DPWH Regional Offices para sa mga bakanteng trabaho na pwedeng apply-an.
Kabilang sa mga binuksang trabaho ay construction jobs tulad ng engineers, carpenters, steel man, welder, scaffolder, electrician, painters, at laborers.
