200 preso sa Correctional naturukan ng COVID 19 vaccine

Umabot sa 200 persons deprived of liberty (PDL) sa Correctional Institute for Women (CIW) sa Mandaluyong City ang nakatanggap na ng first dose ng bakuna laban sa COVID 19.

Sa inilabas na pahayag ng CIW, naisakatuparan ang pagbabakuna sa pakikipag-koordinasyon sa pamahalaang-lungsod ng Mandaluyong.

Sinabi din na karamihan sa mga nabakunahan na preso ay senior citizens.

“The facility, under the leadership of Corrections Technical Senior Superintendent Virginia S. Mangawit, decided to collaborate with the city government of Mandaluyong in getting the female inmates vaccinated since “not everyone can get the COVID-19 vaccine,” ayon sa inilabas na pahayag ng CIW.

Agad din nagpasalamat si Mangawit sa City Health Department ng Mandaluyong City sa pagkuna sa ilan sa kanilang mga PDL.
