Mga dating opisyal ng NPO, sasampahan ng kasong graft ng Ombudsman
Nakitaan na ni Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales ng probable cause para sampahan ng kasong graft ang napatalsik na mga opisyal ng National Printing Office.
Ito ay sina NPO Acting Director Emmanuel Andaya, Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) Chairman Sylvia Banda at BAC members na sina Josefina Samson, Antonio Sillona, Bernadette Lagumen, at Ma. Gracia Enriquez.
Nag-ugat ang kaso sa pagbili ng isang libong kahon ng Travel Clearance Certificates na una nang hiniling ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) noong 2010.
Inaprubahan ni Andaya ang BAC resolution kahit na walang bidding.
Nagkakahalaga ng 1,900 piso ang kada kahon ng TCC at INI award ang kontrata sa Advance Computer Forms, Inc.
Ayon sa Ombudsman, nagkaroon ng gross inexcusable negligence si Andaya at iba pa.
