QC LGU, maglulunsad ng kauna-unahang birth registration portal
Bilang bahagi ng digitalization program, nakatakdang ilunsad ng Quezon City government ang kauna-unahang online birth registration portal sa bansa sa taong 2021.
Layon ng proyekto na magkaroon ng mas maginhawa at maayos na birth registration process, kung saan ang mga requirement ay maaring ipasa sa website at ibeberipika ng City Civil Registry Department (CCRD).
“Tulad ng business at occupational permits natin na pwedeng mag-apply online, bubuksan na rin natin itong online portal for birth registration para ma-address natin ‘yung problema natin sa mga late at unregistered birth registration sa lungsod,” pahayag ni Mayor Joy Belmonte.
Makatutulong din ang proyekto upang hindi na kailangang pumunta ng mga residente sa city hall para sa transaksyon.
“Through this initiative, pwede nang mai-submit ang requirements at mai-check online para hindi na magpabalik-balik pa sa city hall. Hopefully, we can have the portal up and running before the year ends,” paliwanag ng alkalde.
Ayon naman kay City Civil Registrar Salvador Cariňo Jr., nakikipag-ugnayan na sila sa City Administrator’s Office at Information Technology Development Department para maisama ang inisyatibo sa QC E-Services portal.
“We are making all our programs more convenient to the public. Hindi na sila magpapabalik-balik sa city hall kapag may kulang na requirement,” ani Cariňo at dagdag nito, “After sending the documents needed, our staff will review and verify these and will advise the applicant if their certificate is ready for pick-up.”
Maliban sa birth registration, magiging available rin sa portal ang iba pang Civil Registry Department (CCRD) programs tulad ng marriage registration at death registration.
Titiyakin din ng QC LGU na magkakaroon ang portal ng real-time tracking at email notification system para sa mga aplikante.
Gagamitin din ng high-end equipment upang masuportahan ang mga pangangailangan ng sistema.
Oras na mailunsad, 24/7 maaring tumanggap ang portal ng mga aplikasyon mula sa residente ng Quezon City.
