Inamin ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na hindi pa kumpleto ang isinasagawang rehabilitasyon sa Marawi makaraan ang nangyaring giyera taong 2017.
“Rebuilding a better Marawi remains today still not completed,” pahayag ng Pangulo sa kaniyang ika-anim at huling State of the Nation Address (SONA), Lunes ng hapon (July 26).
Inatasan ng Punong Ehekutibo ang Task Force Bangon Marawi na madaliin ang pagsasagawa ng rehabilitasyon sa nasabing lugar.
“To Task Force Bangon Marawi, we need to race against time and you have to finish the necessary work to rehabilitate the war-torn city and bring its families back home,” saad ni Pangulong Duterte.
May 23, 2017 nang magkaroon ng giyera sa Marawi City nang umatake ang Maute group.
Tumagal nang limang buwan ang Marawi siege.
