Sniper killings sa radio personalities pinaiimbestigahan na sa NBI
Nais ni Senator Leila de Lima na ang National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) na ang mag-imbestiga o magsagawa ng hiwalay na pag-iimbestiga sa nagaganap na sniper killings.
Nagpahayag ng pagkabahala si de Lima sa pagpatay sa dalawang personalidad sa radyo sa Davao at Cebu City.
Aniya nakakatakot na bukod sa riding-in-tandem killers ay may mga gumagamit na rin ng snipers para pumatay.
Banggit niya ang snipers ay ekslusibo lang dapat na highly-skilled military o police personnel.
“These killers should be easy to trace. All that one needs is a roster of all trained snipers of the AFP and PNP, both in the active service or retired, with focus on those with extensive combat experience and those dishonorably discharged from the service,” sabi nito.
Ngunit agad nilinaw ni de Lima na hindi niya sinasabing sundalo o pulis ang mga sniper killers kundi maari aniyang dito magsimula ang imbestigasyon.
