P2.3 bilyong halaga ng ukay-ukay nasamsam sa Valenzuela City

Aabot sa P2.3 bilyong halaga ng ukay-ukay ang nasabat ng Bureau of Customs sa isang warehouse sa Mayzan, Valenzuela City.

Ayon kay BOC Commissioner Rey Leonardo Guerrero, pawang mga peke na brand ng damit ang kanilang nasamsam.

Kabilang sa mga nasamsam  ang mga pekeng brand ng Nike, Louis Vuitton at Dior.

Nasamsam ang ukay-ukay sa bisa ng Letter of Authority na inilabas ng BOC.

Kasama sa nagsagawa ng oeprasyon ang Port’s Enforcement and Security Service (ESS), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) at Presidential Anti-corruption Commission (PACC).
