Leyte Rep. Lucy Torres-Gomez tatakbo sa pagka-senador sa ilalim ng Lacson – Sotto tandem
Sasabak na rin si Leyte Representative Lucy Torres-Gomez sa senatorial race sa 2022 elections.
Ito ang kinumpirma ni Senate President Vicente Sotto III at aniya isasama nila ni Sen. Panfilo Lacson sa kanilang senatorial line-up ang kinatawan ng ika-apat na distrito ng Leyte.
“I just got the go signal. Cong. Lucy Torres-Gomez will be in our lineup,” ang mensahe ni Sotto sa Senate media.
Miyembro ng PDP – Laban si Torres-Gomez at kabilang pa siya sa mga sumuporta sa resolusyon na humihimok kay Pangulong Duterte na sumabak sa vice presidential race.
Una nang inanunsiyo nina Lacson at Sotto ang kanilang tandem para sa presidential at vice-presidential election sa susunod na taon.
Ngayon gabi, ibinahagi ni Sotto na 10 na ang nakalista sa kanilang senatorial line-up, si dating Sen. JV Ejercito, Sorsogon Gov. Chiz Escudero, Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian, Sen. Richard Gordon, DICT Sec. Gringo Honasan, dating Comelec Comm. Goyo Larrazabal, Rep. Loren Legarda, Sen. Joel Villanueva, Sen. Juan Miguel Zubiri at ang pinakahuli ay si Torres – Gomez.
