Patuloy na mabagal na kumikilos ang Severe Tropical Storm Fabian sa west northwestward direction.
Base sa advisory ng Pagasa kaninang 5:00 ng umaga, namataan si Fabian sa 1,035 kilometers East Northeast ng Extreme Northern Luzon.
Taglay ni Fabian ang hangin na 95 kilometers per hour at pagbugso na 115 kilometers per hour at mayroongc entral pressure na 989 hPa.
Ayon sa Pagasa, makararanas naman ng monsoon rains sa susunod na 24 oras ang Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Zambales, Bataan, Occidental Mindoro, at Palawan.
Malaki ang tsansa na itaas ang Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal Number 1 sa Batanes at Babuyan Islands.
Ayon sa Pagasa, maaring mag-landfall si Fabian sa Yaeyama, Miyako at Senkaku Islands sa Ryukyu Archipelago sa Japan sa Biyernes ng umaga.
Sa Biyernes ng gabi o Sabado ng umaga, posibleng tahakin ni Fabian ang Taiwan.
Inaasahang lalabas sa Philippine Area of Responsibility si fabian sa Sabado ng umaga.
